Alberta Pre-Launch Registration Notice
Alberta’s open and regulated iGaming market is not yet live. While you are permitted to create an account and access some features of our site, you will not be able to place any bets until the launch date of July 13, 2026. Prior to the launch date, BetRivers is accountable for this information under Alberta’s private sector privacy legislation. On the launch date, the accountability over this information will transfer to the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC), and BetRivers will process your personal information as an agent to the AiGC pursuant to Alberta’s public sector privacy legislation.
NOTICE OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
As of the launch date, personal information will be collected through the site by Rush Street Interactive, LP and/or its affiliates (“BetRivers”) under the authority of Sections 4(a) and (c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (Alberta), the iGaming Alberta Act, the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act (Alberta) and the operating agreement entered into between BetRivers and AiGC. Your personal information will be used or disclosed for the administration of the BetRivers iGaming site, and as otherwise described in BetRivers’s Privacy Policy.
Automated systems may be used by BetRivers to generate content, and make decisions, recommendations or predictions about you.
